Lux Fertility Education

Website design/development, Identity design

Rachael Lux helps women learn their individual fertility patterns without the use of hormonal birth control through teaching classes over Zoom. She found that her services were becoming more sought out in her community as clients were approaching her mainly from word-of-mouth.

I created a preliminary brand system for her business to use on print collateral and a website in order to spread the word and grow her client base.

The target audience spans those with regular cycles and especially individuals with unique health conditions– whether trying to conceive or just get an objective picture of their body’s natural patterns.

Above: Initial logo explorations. The client wanted to include an element of light, referring to the Latin translation of Lux, combined with the commonly used fertility symbol of a sperm + egg.

Below: I built a website on Squarespace for potential clients to access sign up forms and give a brief overview of the services Rachael offers. The scope included a custom illustrated web header and additional spot illustrations

My strategy was to create a friendly, easy-to-navigate site that would introduce the visitor to the Marquette method of fertility tracking, highlight the benefits, and include multiple CTAs to get connected with Rachael.
